CBers s late yule party at bowery The Emergency Communications Radio Team invites all CBers and CB radio clubs to a putluck Christmas party Thursday, Dec. 16, at 7 p.m. at the bowery at Rees Pioneer park at Seventh West and Forest street. The bowery is enclosed and heated. Those attending are asked to bring a potluck ' dish and a $2 (maximum) gift, ladies for ladies, men for men, etc. Santa Claus has promised to make an appearance. And CBers attending are asked to bring one tree ornament that will be placed on a tree at the party. Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Scheib came down from Pocatello, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Salvo and members of their family from Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Fryer, Logan, members of the Wayne Fryer family, Artel Fryer, Mrs. Darlene Zinck, Dennis Zinck and Mrs. Rex Jensen, and Mr. and Mrs. Leg Kinsman and children from Fairview all enjoyed visiting with her. Henry Marble was transferred from Mountain View NursMcKing home last week to the ay-Dee hospital in Ogden for Members of the Primary association and their husbands met at a lovely dinner party Friday evening in the ward cultural hall. It was done under the direction of Primary officers, Mrs. Brian Burbank, Mrs. Michael Litchford, Mrs. Kraig Page and Mrs. Ferron Thayne. Preparations have been under way for this yearly event for the past couple of weeks. A program was presented following the dinner with Miss Carolyn Holdaway singing for the group. Mrs. Roger Mason and Mrs. Eldon Johnson performed Christmas piano duets and Mrs. Zane Wheatley gave Christmas readings. Invited guests were Bishop and Mrs. Jon Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Davis and Mr. and Mrs. Layne Gardner. further medical tcaaSnonL Mrs. Robert Evans WMPlf Mb Malad to be with her mother for awhile last week: Airman Jeff Litchford, with the aid of Pat and Garry and son, Sam, made a surprise visit at the Charles Litchford home for four days last week. The Bessingers brought Jeff home from the airport in Salt Lake City Wednesday evening. Jeff is on a tour ofduty in Nevada with the Air Force. He returned to Las Vegas Sunday. Mrs. Robert (Judy Cannon) Deakin also surprised her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thales Cannon recently. She arrived for a visit of several days from her home in San Jose, Calif. She was later joined by her husband for the return trip home. The Cannon family were dinner guests last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Smith and family in Kaysville. Jensen, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. Vay S. Jensen of R.F.D. 1, Brigham City, has graduated at Sheppared AFB, Tex., from the U.S. Air Force technical training course for electricians. Airman Jensen, now trained to install and maintain interior and exterior electrical systems and equipment, is being assigned to Lake Mead, Nev., for duty with a unit of the Tactical Air Command. Completion of the course enables the airman to receive academic credits through the Community College of the Air Force. Airman Jensen entered the' Air Force in March 1974.
