Enjoying Saturday dinner with Mrs. Agnas Archibald was Mr. her son and daughter-in-laand Mrs. Linford Archibald and daughter Trudy of Roy. Spending Sunday and enjoying dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Lamb and family were their and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Lamont Wakely and children Conrad, Stephanie and Jason of Bancroft, Idaho. Mrs. Aloha Petersen of St. John, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dee Williams, is receiving medical care in the Oneida County hospital in Malad. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Peterson were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Peterson and children Kelly and DeDe of Clinton, Mr. and Mrs. Greg Lamb and daughters Angela Dawn and Misti Jo. Nine couples enjoyed a Mutual Marrieds party held at the Belmont ward cultural hall Saturday evening. A Spanish dinner was served. Saturday evening Mrs. Anna Nish and Mrs. Ruth Elaine Stokes attended a bicentennial play in the Clarkston ward cultural hall. Mrs. Nishs daughter Mrs. Deanna Godfrey was one of the participants in the play. Saturday Mrs. Hazel Hess and daughter Julie accompanied by Mrs. Jeanine Hess of Garland visited Miss Clara Archibald in Logan. w 2nd ward hosts Monro youth s Mrs. Max Nelson The Aaronic Priesthood and Young Ladies of the Perry Second ward were hosts to the youth of the Monroe ward of Sevier county at a youth conference this past weekend. The youth from Monroe arrived on Saturday morning and were met by the group from the second ward. During the day games of a carnival nature were played with points being Daughters of the Utah Pioneers met April 7 at the home of Mrs. Lois Nelson. The meeting was conducted by Camp Captain Zina Peterson. The history was given by Mrs. Alean Sevy on her great great of the Mrs. Flora grandmother, Washburn. The lesson on favorite trunks, chests and boses which were brought across the plains was given by Mrs. Freda Oyler. Hostesses for the evening were Lois Nelson and Wanda awarded for achievements. Also sports were enjoyed by the visiting youth as well as the hometown youth. At the end of the day when the points were tallied up they were used to bid on the delightful box lunches that had been prepared by the young ladies. These box lunches were decorated and made as attractive as possible and then were awarded to the highest bidder of points. The youth from Sevier county then spent the evening at a special fireside at the town park with the youth from Perry. Sebek. At town board meeting, April 14, members of the Bicentennial committee of the Daughters of Pioneers presented the town board with a flag of the United States that had flown over the capital building in Washington D.C. The flag was obtained by Mrs. Alean Sevy and presented by Wanda Sebek, Lois Nelson and Freda Oyler. It is the desire of the camp that this flag will now be flown on the city square. Visiting at the Max Nelson home this past weekend was Glen Jensen, brother to Lois. Glen lives in Layton and will be leaving for an LDS mission to Nashville, Tenn., on Saturday. The Three Mile Creek Camp i Fifty-fou- r members of the Simper family gathered at the home of Grant Simper on Sunday to help him celebrate his birthday. All of his brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews were in attendance. Lunch was served on the lawn and gifts were presented to him from the family members. Visiting with folks they hadnt seen for some time was enjoyed the rest of the afternoon. The South Box Elder stake held a Boy Scout court of honor last Friday evening.
