Show BOX ELDER JOURNAL, Brigham I Obituaries Laol 'Dan City, Utah Thursday, February 12, 1976 Brigham rosidont Lael Dan Jenkins. 37. of 2495 Marilyn Drive, Perry, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 1976 in Brigham City. He was born May 29, 1938 in Afton, Wyo., the son of Royal A. and Mabel Drapey Jenkins. He married Bonnie Kaye McKellar Feb. 7, 1962 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Me. moved to Brigham City from Salt Lake two years ago. He was a partner and manager of Brigham Honda company. He had served an LDS n mission in the He had Mission in 1959-6served as superintendent of the Sunday school in the Holladay 17th ward. He had served in the Seventies as group leader of the Union 10th ward in Sandy. He was a member of the Seventies quorum in Perry at the time of his death. He was also on the service and activities committee in the Aaronic priesthood MIA. He was an officer in the Utah Snowmobile assocaitlon and a winner of many snowmobile races in the Utah and Idaho area.. He is survived by his wife and son Steven John Jenkins; two daughters, Joanna M. Jenkins and Michelle Kaye Jenkins, all of Perry; his mother of Midvale; four brothers and three sisters; Kay D. Jenkins, Marlow D. Jenkins, Val D. Jenkins and Terry Jenkins, Mrs. John (Darlene) Schmidt, Mrs. Dell (Pat) Longmore and Mrs. Steve (Marva) Cutler, all of Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be held today at noon in the Perry ward chapel. Friends may call at the Perry ward Relief society room an hour prior to services. Oral W. Brough Oral Wilford Brough, 63, of Deweyville, was dead on arrival at Bear River Valley hospital in Tremonton Saturday, Feb. 7, 1976, after a lingering illness. He was bom March 26, 1912, in Ttemonton, a son of Charles William and Bertha Ella Woodruff Brough. He married Thelma Sandall on Aug. 31, Ogden. They were divorced. L. 1936, in later He married Eleanor Bowers on March 18, 1950, in Elko, Nev. He had worked as a mechanic, attended Utah State university and was a veteran of World War II. The Golden Spike tournament in Ogden Jan. 31 Brigham City, has been named the 1975 Man of the year for the companys Pinnock agency. ' This marks the eighth consecutive year that Udy has attained this honor. The Pinnock agency covers the Intermountain states of Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Nevada. Udy also found himself in eleventh position in the companys field force of over 2,100 agents, with paid premium for the year exceeding $170,000. He also paid for over four-an- d dollars of life insurance in order to establish this record. Udy is a life and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table and is a member of Connecticut Mutual Lifes Masters club. He is also the immediate past president of the Utah State Life Underwriters netted this trio of trophies. Officer Harold Howard of the Brigham City police said the girl was walking past the grill area where a knife apparently had been left wedged between some cans with the blade out. Moskowitz of Brigham City recently was named as a Picker Scholar in radiologic research. The award was announced by the James Picker foundation last week in New York City. The four year award of $40,000 will enable Dr. Moskowitz to embark on a career development program of research and study concerning renal development, growth and function in children. Dr. Moskowitz is presently an assistant professor of radiology at the Stanford university School of Medicine, and staff pediatric radiologist at Stanford University hospital and Stanford Childrens hospital, Palo Alto, Calif. s. Doctor given grant for radiology study The James Picker foundation was established in 1947 with the broad purpose of fostering advances in the field of radiology for the benefit of mankind. The Picker Scholar program is designed to improve radiologic education and research by giving both recognition and financial support to the activities of promising young academic with unusual radiologists potential to contribute to diagnostic radiology. A native of Brigham City, she graduated from Box Elder High school in 1965. She attended Utah State university and LDS Business college and has been with Commercial Security since 1972. She is married to James Nebeker, who is manager of the Johnson Anderson Mortgage company. The couple resides in Salt Lake City.
