Mr. and Mrs. Dell Holmgren were at the Special Events center in Salt Lake attending the basketball tournament all last week. Eva Thorsen and the Dean Jeppsons of Ogden made a side trip to Jackpot, Nev. while on their way to Buhl, Idaho for the weekend. Damsel Nelson and Peggy Porritt were Logan visitors Thursday. Beth Conger. of Brigham and Donna Hansen of Corinne have been spending quite a bit of time with their mother Mrs. Bertha Wankier who has been recovering from an illness. Mrs. Wankiers sister Mrs. Alta Moore has also been helping out. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Christensen of Woods Cross and Mrs. Christensens sister Leora Grouse of Salt Lake visited Carrie A. Christensen Friday. Honored Guest Peggy Porritt was the guest of honor at a birthday dinner at Maddox. Those helping her celebrate was her husband Ken, Joyce and Jerry Williams and Karen and Leland Anderson. Peggy hosted a party for her family on Sunday. Oleen and Damsel, Neal Nelson, Robert Nelsons and their families were in attendance for the occasion. Sunday evening the Gerald Williams and the Leland Anderson brought pie and pop to round off a busy birthday weekend for Peggy. Bothwell ward relief society members and their husbands are planning a trip to the Ogden LDS temple for their birthday party.
