The articles hasten to add Line By Ruth 723-622- I'll believe that Utahns use tlfe phene, more than the residents of any other state, as fugures released from Moun- tain Bell Telephone company state. In calling for Party Line, there are as many busy signals as firsttime successful attempts made. Perhaps the busy telephone lines are just happy parents telling the good news of their new arrivals to friends and relatives, for deliveries by the stork at Cooley Memorial hospital continue to bring joy to local families. This past week the Jay Stuart family welcomed a little son, with the Jan. 23 arrival being named Charles by his happy parents. Jay and Marcia Stuart have two older children Shelly and Jason, who were delighted with the arrival of their little brother at home. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stuart and Mr. and Mrs. Clark Hillam, all of Brigham City. Pink Bonnet Pink bonnets are the latest style at the home of Lynn and Donna Jephson, as they brought little Janet Lyn home from the hospital this week. She was born on Jan. 26 at Cooley hospital. Her arrival evens out the family since she has two big brothers Michael and Alan and a big sister Holly, who was mighty excited about having a new little sister. A little girl was just what the doctor ordered for Valden and Judy Rosenberg, and their wishes came true on Jan. 29 at 6:58 p.m. as they welcomed little Kristen Marie into their family. Two big brothers, Jeffrey and Brandon, could hardly wait for their first glimpse at their baby sister. Happy Birthday Reaching the age of six is an event for celebration for a boy, and Matt Romer's family hosted a birthday party in honor of the occasion last Saturday. Matt is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rod Romer of Brigham City, and his mom reports that his guests enjoyed the standard little boy birthday games and refreshments at the party. Guests included Paula Roche, Mike Whitaker, Marshall Zobel, Jay Kelly, Kip Howard, Steven Dickamore and Bryan Adams. His big sister Diana Romer assisted his mother during the party. that the family that eats together regularly is more 9 and husband, Mr. r.r.d Mrs. Don (Dottie) Erickson of Glendive, Mont., who visited with the Bushnells in Brigham City while on a buying trip to Salt Lake City. The Editor family hasn't hit the worst years yet, according to friends with teenagers in the family, but they've already found that the pressure of outside activities makes mealplanning difficult. It was with a sign of relief that the family saw the end of Little League football practices this fall, for dinnertime was as late as 8 p.m. and sometimes another member of the family had to be at another commitment by 7 p.m. to Eat Together Otherwise, the family usually eats together. The boys are so used to a family meal that they were downright insulted the few times that their dinners were served separately, so the person with an earlier meeting was usually the one who ate alone. Usually the family eats together in the evening unless hubby has to work late, but already meals get rushed a bit to fit schedules. Tuesdays the boys and mom get home after five from the church and Little Miss has a 6:30 meeting and the adults have a 7 p.m. class. Wednesdays the Cub Scouts are pushed out the door just in time to start dinner so that another boy can make it to Webelos, while the other two children are trying to pry money from parents for roller skating at the school. Conversation One of the main reasons for families eating together is the pleasant conversations that are to occur.
