Mrs. Ben Jones first talked on the principles of flower arranging and did some demonstration arrangements, after which the girls each worked on a floral display during a workshop period. The bridegroom is a graduate of Juarez Stake Academic in Colonia Juarez, Mexico, and has attended Weber State college. He is now employed in Ogden. November 5 has been circled by the couple for their marriage date in the Salt Lake LDS temple, with a reception to be held in the Box Elder South stake policies and programs. The meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6, at Maddox Ranch house, at which time new officers will be elected to serve for the coming year. Also planned for the day will be a unique display of souvenirs from foreign countries brought and put on exhibit by members of the organization. Refreshments will be served beginning at 3:45 p.m. under the direction of Donna Stringham assisted by Marge Gardner and Eva Haws. The regular meeting begins at 4:15 p.m. with club president Beth Anderson in charge. The speaker will be introduced by chairman Mae Balls and director member JoAnn Hoth. They have named the baby Tyler Wayne and he joins a big brother Leslie Evans to complete the family group. Mrs. Johnson will be remembered here as the former Mary Jane Loveland. Her mother Mrs. Winnifred Loveland flew to Minot to spend a week helping out after the babys arrival. Name chosen for the project in which is Safety Parents signs designating certain homes as safety parent homes will appear on the major routes to schools in each area of the city. The safety parents will be volunteers working and taking an interest in the children of their school area. Each school PTA safety chairman is working with the PTA president and the principal of the school to obtain volunteers to cover their own school area, with the PTA to approve each parent home and present that home with a sign for prominent display. Sponsor Project Sponsors of the project are the Soroptimists, with Margo Flint as president spearheading the program.
