Show Temple Rite Unites Pair BOX Willard Ward JOURNAL, Brigham City, Utah Thursday, August 13, 1970 ELDER 5 I Schedules In impressive nuptial rites performed in the Logan LDS temple, Miss Billie Kay Petersen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer C. J. Peterson of Tremonton became the bride of Paul H. Cutler on July 17. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon H. Cutler of Corinne. President E.W. Heaten officiated at the double-rinceremony in the presence of immediate members of both families and a few close g guest of honor at a belated observance birthday Church Dinner last week. Club members honored her with a dinner at the Golden Spike Cafe in Corinne followed by an evening of bridge at the home of Mrs. Ken Jensen. Wedding Breakfast wedding breakfast for the bridal party was held at the home of the grooms parents Immediately following the ceremony. That evening the young couple greeted guests at a reception hosted by the brides parents at their home. The bride was radiant in a gown fashioned of Chantilly lace and organza, trimmed with glitter sequins, belonging to the bride's sister, Mrs. A Lamar Buxton. The veil of fine net was held in place with a crown of embroidered roses and accented with sequins, fashioned by the brides sister Mrs. Darrell Henderson. We gave a handout to a mother cat that strayed into the back yard several years ago and now three batches of kittens later she is still here and so are most of the offspring. At the moment we are waiting to find out just how many there are in the last litter. We knew they were on the way and just yesterday the mother showed up slim and sleek again, so in a few weeks I guess she will bring them around to get acquainted. We are waiting for the law of supply and demand to take over but somehow we seem to be getting all the supply and very little demand. I just hope you are in a demanding mood for the Party Line news this morning which seems to be in plentiful supply this week so pull up that easy chair and let's have our little visit. Visits Here The Douglas Orchards have had their son and daughter-in-law- , Mr. and Mrs. Brent Orchard and two grandsons Allen and Paul visiting with them last week. Brent played in a golf tournament in Salt Lake City Saturday and Sunday and Mrs. Orchard and children spent most of the time with her mother, Mrs. David Allen of Perry. On Sunday Orchards attended a family reunion of the F.W. Ellis family at the Watkins park in this city. Mrs. Douglas Orchard was in charge of arrangements for the An aunt and niece, Mrs. Martha Hospner and Mrs. Donna Rowe of were Calif, Alahambra, houseguests of the Orchards while they were here for the reunion. Mrs. Orchard reports that at the reunion there were five of her uncles and an aunt who were all over 80 years old. The family members came from Idaho, Utah and California for the gathering and there were 150 family members enjoyed the park facilities which according to Mrs. Orchard were very good." Following the reunion at the park the Orchards had their immediate family together at their home which included the Brent Orchards and children Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Or r. chard and children, Lori Lynne, Steven, Ann Marie, Michelle and Russell of Hunter, Utah and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Witt of North Willard. The Brent Orchards spent a week here and returning to her home in Perry was Marilyn Allen, sister of Mrs. Orchard who has spent the summer with them in Cedar City. While she was there she participated in an MIA stake play and also the famous Shakesperean Festival. Mrs. Osey Jensen was pleased to have her and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Wight and grandchildren Diane and Kathleen of Calif, spend a weekend here. They had been in Montana where they attended a reunion of the Wight family. Also spending a day with Mrs. Jensen this week was her granddaughter, Mrs. Mark McGregor and children Mark and Lisa of Missouli, Mont. son-in-la- Nor-thridg- e, Travel News Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nobles are home after a nine-da- y trip to Oklahoma. They went first to Colorado Springs, Colo, where they visited with his uncle Owen Nobles for a weekend and then he joined them for a trip to Granite, Okla. where they attended a three-da- y reunion of the Nobles family held at the Quartz Mountain State park. During their stay the John Reeds entertained the Nobles and other family members at a beach dinner. On the return trip the Nobles visited with an old friend Jim Drummond at his home in Denver. When they drove In the driveway at their home here the speedometer revealed they had gone 2200 miles. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace and children Robyn, Chad and Jan spent a Christensen week touring interesting sites in Southern Utah, New and Mexico, Arizona, Colorado. They traveled Utah's Moab, through Monument Valley, and saw the Goosencks of the Colorado. They went through the Four Corners area, stopped at the quaint town of Durango, Colo, and rode the famous narrow Gauge railroad to Silverton. Touring through New Mexico and Arizona they especially enjoyed their trip through the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest. They visited the south rim of the Gran canyon then came on home through the Lake Powell and Glen Canyon Dam area.
