Homecoming To Honor B( Elder Elder Lynn Jeffery Valentine will be honored at a homecoming testimonial to be held Sunday, July 26 at the Brigham City LDS Third ward at 5 p.m. Elder Valentine has just completed a two year mission to Australia where he served as district leader, and trainer. He labored in the cities of Sydney, Newcastle, Tamworth, and Brisban, Toowoomba. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Valentine, 152 North First West, Brigham City. Bishop Lloyd Gunther invites all friends and neighbors to attend the testimonial. Cleo Ann HONORS Larsen Brimhall recently graduated "with high distinction in music education from the University of Nebraska. College Woman Receives High Honors Cleo Ann Larsen Brimhall of Lincoln, Nebraska, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Larsen West Second South, Brigham City received a bachelors degree with honors at summer commencement exercises Friday, July 17, at the University of Nebraska. Mrs. Brimhall was one of six to receive a degree with high the highest distinction,' academic honor that the university bestows upon graduating seniors. 126 She graduated education and in plans graduate work universitys school ' at music do to the of music. Mendon To Host Celebration The neighboring city of host a July 24 celebration and Country Fair. A childrens parade, with children everywhere invited to enter and win prizes, will kick off the days activities with a carnival, foods, games, free animal center novelties, and amusements as standards for all day fun. At p.m. there will be soft-ba- ll and invitational childrens games with prizes to be awarded. At 5:20 p.m. there will be a harmonica contest.
