Show Ilk Brigham City, Utah Thursday, April 23, 1970 BOX ELDER JOURNAL, Rock Show Slated at Logan Gym Arbor Day Will Bring Start of T ree Project Its Arbor day Friday. For Brigham The annual gem and mineral show, sponsored by the Cache Geological and Archeological society, will be staged Saturday and Sunday, in the Logan High April school gymnasium, 155 Wesl First South, Logan. Mr. and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Grunig of Brigham City are in charge of the special displays for the show. The show will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday. Many fine arts and displays will be featured during the show. Door prizes will be awarded, there will be a swap table and refreshments will be served. There is no charge for admission and the general public is invited to view the displays there, Grunig said this week. 25-2- City and Box Elder county employes, the occasion comes as a holiday. Rich-ma- n was the winner in Sunrise Optimist Oratorical contest. Boise Youth Wins Contest Larry Richman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn T. Richman of Boise, Idaho, has been named first place winner in the Sunrise Optimist Oratorical contest. The youth wrote the winning essay on the subject, "Youths Full Partners in a Better Tomorrow. He will now compete in the regional competition. Active in school affairs and in LDS church activities, young Larry is an Eagle Scout. He is a grandson of Mrs. Boston Richman, 115 South Second East, and of Mr. and Mrs. F. Leland Seely, 826 East First North.
