Work of the Easter Seal deals with children and handicapped adults in Utah and includes a variety of programs to aid the handicapped in becoming pro. ductive, contributing mem-ber- s of society. Utah projects include a speech and hearing clinic, in. dividual benefits of funds for braces, wheel chairs and other equipment that might be need, ed by families of the handicapped. A program benefitting Utah families, through the facility is located in Colorado, is the summer camp for 50 handicap, ped children. Children from Brigham City have enjoyed the camp for the past five summers. The cost per child from the Easter Seal society is $150. Perhaps one of the most programs of the Easter Seal society in Utah is the rehabilitation workshop in Salt Lake City, where handicapped adults are given professional evaluation by counselors, and are then allowed to progress through job tryouts to actual 1968 door-to-doo- work workshop. When ready for placement, the workers are helped to find employment m outside industries. The workshop is operated and functions through contracts with Utah industries, approximately 16 currently. d 1962. The family came to the United States in 1909, settling in Ogden. Born Feb. 13, 1889 in City, he was a son of Oscar and Othelia Anderson Forsgren. He was reared and educated in Brigham City. He was married to Clar. ice Amy Wright on Sept. 26, 1917 in Brigham City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He was a retired carpenter.
