GARY Nay MRS. formerly of Willard were recent contest Los Angeles, of on the popular ants daytime television the Newlyweds. They took second place In competition with three other newlywed couples. The show they appeared In will be broadcast In Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kunzler went with a BYU Travel tour to the Pageant held at Palmyra, N.Y. They flew from Salt Lake City to New York City then traveled by bus to the Pageant. While there she visited briefly with Elder Richard Watts, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Watts serving on a mis. slon In the Cumorah mission. After attending the Pageant the tour continued on to Montreal, Canada to attend the Expo '67 there. They visited many his. torlcal areas of the early LDS church history. They returned home by plane to Salt Lake City. Duane Poulsen has returned home after attending school for two weeks In Park City. Besides attending classes there was time to enjoy many of the vacation faclltles that are there. Dennis Poulsen, two year-olson of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Poulsen was honored on his second birthday Sunday by a party. Celebrating with him were Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Green and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Ormond and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Kunzler and Clark Lowe and his mother Mrs. Hazel Lowe. All gathered together In the evening for visiting and the traditional and cake. Utah on Monday August 14 at 12 noon on Channel 4. Parents of the young couple living In Willard are Mrs. Pearl Nay and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Young. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Braeg-ge- r announced the arrival of a new baby daughter born Thursday July 27, at the Cooley Memorial hospital In Brigham City. There are three brothers and a sister welcoming baby sister at home they are Nathan, Nancy, Nell and Tommy. Sharing grandparent honors are Mr. and Mrs. George Braegger of Willard and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Anderson of Bear River City. The closing social of the Willard Second ward Primary was held Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. A program entitled "Why We Sing" was presented by the children during opening exercises. Plans are to have a program, food, fish ponds for the kids, and the usual booths found at a bazaar all decorated In the Nursery Rhyme theme.
