Running for the office of secretary, treasurer will be Mrs. Rodney (Barbara) Edwards and Mrs. Darrell (Grace) Nelson. A special Invitation Is extended to all Interested people In the area and especially the parents of all school age child, ren. THERE WERE 43 MODEL on hand last Friday evening to participate In the sports cars "Plnewood Derby sponsored by Cub Scout pack 110. Each boy In the pack made his model with the help of his father this past month and they were all anxious to see whose who came In first. First place honors went to Curtis Anderson with second place going to Randy Bradbury. Third place winner was Kevin Hlrschi. Completing the list of the top ten cars were Reese Nelson, Terry Pritchard, Brian Nelson, Kenneth Bradbury, Peter Rasmussen, James Dieter, and Duane Call. Preceding the races a short meeting was held with the theme Nall "Cub Scout Handyman driving contests were held and a contest of naming the handy, mans tools. Winners were pre. sented with movie passes. ' A FLAG CEREMONY was pre. sented by Den 3 with an award ceremony following. GENERAL SESSIONS of the conference will be conducted Sunday at 10 a.m. and at 2 p.m. Visitors are welcome at these meetings. Special priesthood and genealogy meetings will be conducted Saturday for stake and ward workers. Elder Longdon was manager of an electrical supply company and a Red Cross and Community Chest official when appointed to his church position In 1951. A native of England, he served the LDS church as amissionary and regional leader. He super, vises youth activities In the His wife, LaRue C. church. Longdon, served 14 years asse-concounselor in the genreal presidency of the Young Mutual Improvement Assn. Elder Brown, a certified public accountant, is treasurer of the Genealogical Society. He Is a native of Boise, Idaho, and a graduate of the Unlver. sity of Utah. All meetings will be held In the Brigham City Tabernacle.
