On Monday night Santa Claus made an appearance at the Willard ward Primary and city party. The Primary children put on a program based around Christmas Eve family hour with children portraying the many symbols of Christmas, and the story of Christmas and the nativity scene at the finish. Fol lowing the program carols were sung and Santa Claus appeared with presents for each. TUESDAY MORNING the Wll lard ward Relief society held their annual Christmas party. Santa Claus s.. vg ft,. B'Mrtr. Dl the local Welfare Department. Each club member refinished a toy from home and assisted In buying food and clothing for a family of eight children living In the Tremonton area. They gathered at the home of the club sponsor, Gary Gardner, where they spent an evening wrapping and preparing the gifts for delivery. Then came Christmas Eve and the time to play Santa. The presentation to the family was made by officers of the club, Dean Reeder, president; Scdtt Hall, vice president; Royal Reeves, secretary; Jerry John, ston, treasurer, and spon. sor, Mr. Gardner. Funds for the project were provided by the club treasury.
