While there they enjoyed the races, halter classes, and performance horses. back, they went Coming ' through Santa Fe, and then Taos, which is an artists paradise, with many artgallerles. Artists from all over the United States live there, with paintings either on sale or exhibition. While there, Betty enjoyed a visit with her friend, the famous artist Da McAfee, of the White Horse studio. Leaving Taos, they toured through Colorado, up to and across the Royal Gorge (world's highest swinging bridge). They drove down through the Gunnison valley of Colorado which they found exceptionally beaut, iful, and then on home to Perry. The Boy Scouts are planning to leave for Camp Lowe Aug. 8 thru 15 for their annual outing. They still need some drivers yet, so if any of you fathers would like to drive, please contact Deryl Young.
