He said practice and qualifying trials will begin next Saturday and that the contest finals will be held late in February. He said each boy will be allowed 15 tries and that the top shooters in the junior and senior leagues will be awarded official basketballs. He urged all boys to begin preparing for this contest by foul shooting pitches. The foul line is 15 feet from the face of the back board.
