Call entertained in honor of Elder Justin D, Call Jr., who leaves shortly for a mission toGermany. The lawn was brilliantly illuminated and outdoor games were played, inter and Spersed with partaking of watermelon, cantaloups, grapes. At the conclusion of the fun, the company adjourned to the Academy of Music where dancing was indulged in. Those present were Judge and Mrs. J. D. Call, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Call, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Peters, Mr. and Mrs. W..V. Call; Misses Florence Lee, Marco Madsen, Florence Watkins, Connie Jensen, Edna Stohl, Laura Cooper, Hazel Stohl, Muriel Horsley, Miss Call of Nampa, Idaho; Connie Madsen, Lois Peters, Verabell Call; Messrs. Justin D. Call, Waldemar Call, Willie Call, Amos Hatch, Eldred Hatch, Wayne Jeppson, Perry D. Peters, Milton Peters, Fred Sullivan of Pocatello, Idaho, and Reynold Watkins. A delightful canyon party camped near Sept. 11, 1913 Mantua last Thursday evening, the members of which included Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Pett, Mrs. Amy Wnght, Mrs. Rose H. Neeley, Mrs. Zina Jensen, Ray Pett, Ada Johnson and a host of children. 25 Years Ago Miss Marie Bunderson of Brigham September 9, 1938 City was selected as the Peach Queen at the grand ball last evening. Chosen as her attendants were Miss Ruth Nelson of Brigham City and Miss LaRae Christensen of Bear River City. They will grave a beautiful float in the parade today and Saturday. Tess Harper, rodeo queen and her attendants, Wilma Adams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Adams, and Helen Wright, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wright, all of Brigham City, will be featured in the parade on both days of the celebration. Mrs. Wayne Loveland of Rock September 9, 1938 Springs, Wyo., is spending a few days visiting in this city with relatives and friends. Roberts of McCall, Idaho, governor of District 542 of Rotary International, when he arrives here Monday. The local Rotary club is one of 48 clubs in the district. In addition to addressing the Brigham City Rotarlans at their meeting Tuesday noon, Roberts will confer with Olof Zundel, president of local Rotary club, and other club officers on ns uma. tw. He was elected a district governor for 1963-6- 4 at Rotarys 54th annual convention in St.Louls, Mo. last June, He is one of 272 district governors responsible for supervising the activities of more than 11,500 Rotary clubs with a total membership of 535,500 Rotar-iain 129 countries around the globe.
