The club is busily selling calendars to local families, who may have their names and birthdays and anniversaries listed on the community calendar for a small amount. HURRY! Everyone in Brigham City and surrounding area may have their names printed in the calendar. Names will be printed on the date of birthdays, so everyone else will know when birthdays fall, but it wont reveal how young anyone is. Wedding anniversaries of married couples will be printed on the dates of their anniversaries, with a little bell symbol after the names. FOR FAMILIES with sons In the military service, his name will also be listed on his birthday with a little flag after his name. Citizens are reminded to be sure an order an extra calendar to send to that boy in the service, or sons and daughters in the mission fields or who have married and moved away. The meetings, social events and activities of all the civic clubs, lodges, schools, church and community will ail be shown on the dates they will be held, so that huyers of the calendar will always know what's going on in town. A PICTURE of some local attraction will be on the front of the calendar, along with ads from local business firms. Several of them will be offering gifts and discounts during the week of buyers birthdays and anniversaries. Every family will want to be included on the community calendar and to send extras to the folks that are away. P. Gurrister, president of the local League of Women Voters, confers with board members Mrs. William H. Yates regarding the panel discussion topic to be given at the Presbyterian Womens Association meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 1 p.m. Also appearing on the panel will be Mrs. Byron Huntsman, another League board member. i United Nations Panel Discussion Set for Church Womens Meeting HIGH-UTclub held THE a meeting Sept. 26 at the Tremon-to- n city office. Adele Ward and Cheryl Saton were elected reporters. After the elections Mrs. Eller gave a talk on the fundamentals of giving a demonstration. Then who Betty Smith of Tremonton, won a $25 bond and a trip to Denver, gave her winning demonstration. Another meeting will be held for the ofticers on Oct. 17. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nielsen won the door prize for the evening, and musite for the dance was provided by the Owen Ridges orchestra. Colorful fall flowers and Halloween decorations were tastefully displayed about the hall, and refreshments were also in the fall theme. Dance club chairmen, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Archibald report that good crowd was present for this first dance of the season.
