Show Brigham City, Utah' Thursday, July 27, 1961 Brigham Hosts Mil Meet Saturday Minor League The Brigham City municipal pool will host its first AAU meet Saturday, July 29, when swim- mers from 13 teams in Utah will compete for honors. The mpet is also the only Senior AAU meet to be held in Utah this year. Preliminary trials will start a. m. and final races will at 5 p. m. 9 7 THE BOX ELDER JOURNAL, Second half: 01 20 . Ribbons will be given fourth and fifth place winners. All records of the meet will go down as new AAU swimming records because it is the first 25 meter pool to be used in the state. The records set at the Saturday meet can only be broken in the Brigham City pool in additional AAU sanctioned unless meets, other 25 meter pools are built in the state. Three hundred are swimmers expected to enter the meet from clubs such as Tooele and Clearfield, according to'Ann Westen-skow- , meet chairman. Six intermountain AAU officials will be on hand. The Aquatot swim club of Salt Lake City will perform Saturday at the Brigham City municipal pool during the Senior AAU swimming meet. Ages of the group range from two year old to the oldest who is six. They are coached by Don Brenamin.
