Tuesday morning he was guest speaker and shook hands with vo-ters at cottage meetings held at Bear River City and Honeyville. He attended Rotary club at noon in Brigham City and spent the bal-aie of the day campaigning here. Wednesday morning was spent in the Fielding area, followed by luncheon at Garland, where he visited the sugar factory. He spoke at a cottage meeting in Tremon-lo- n and visited there for the remainder of the day. Stevensons thinking on Federal Aid to education is to help with construction of school buildings in distressed areas but lie is opposed to centering control of educational policy in Washington, D. C., by the granting of Federal funds for operational purposes. He advocates that an improvement can be made in Federal grants to foreign aid and believes that the policy should he studied carefully. He further believes in a stronger fscal policy with the view of reducing the public debt.
