Mrs. Oleen Nelson entertained at a lovely birthday party honoring her daughter, Mitzi, on her eighth birthday. Mrs. Lee Johnsen was hostess to her club at her home, Thursday evening. Mrs. Winnie (Alvin) Jensen returned to her home this week after spending two weeks in Van Nuys, Calif., visiting her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Hunsaker. She also visited her sister and brother-in-law- , Mr. and Mrs. Bernard (Berry) Christensen. Mrs. Austin (Victoria) Johnsen is at home. Mrs. Johnsen underwent a major operation about two weeks ago. Mrs. Seretta Johnsen, Fern Arbon, LaVela Matteson, Mae and Anderson, Pearl Jensen Winnie Jensen motored to Willard, Saturday where they were guests of Mrs. Earl Graser. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Hansen attended funeral services in Logan for Olaf J. Olson, Tuesday. But after that, the returning talent spreads thin. Hansen also will perform in the broad jump and low hurdle events. Richard Earl, another letterman, will be running the 880 while teammate Edward Jensen is listed to compete in the mile run. Other veterans are Steven Jeppson, a pole vaulter, and Robert LaFramboise, who will be tossing the javelin. The Bees could prove tough in the sprints with Terry Shio, Stuart Tracy, and Lewis Jones showing a lot of promise.. Bob Limb is expected to garner points in the high jump and high hurdles. Bigsters Jay and Randall Tyson should prove a powerful twosome in the shotput and discus events. Box Elder will compete in four duel meets before the region meet May 3 at the Utah State University.
