This is the first year in several, the classes have worked with oils. Stills or still life, which are considered by some as easier to paint, are being used as the subjects of the oil paintings They give the students a chance to experiment with the new type of paints and also show the many different interpretations of the same composition, as no two people paint the same subjects alike. As an Art Month activity, the high school art classes, under the direction of Miss Karen Anderson, instructor, are planning to visit the Central school art exhibit, sponsored by Utah State University artists and local artists, to study art skills of professionals and amateurs.
