Show Soirffler Bees Open 1957 Football Schedule With Olympus Game Friday Two Games Precede Inter-Regio- n Opening of League Play Sept. 27 . The Friday night game will the first of a nine game schedule for the Bees which includes one other practice tilt, to be played at Jordan next Fri Untried Bees to Make First Bid Tonight; Game Starts at 8 p.m. be vention on the weekend. The regular Region 1 2 schedule will open on Sept. 27 when the Bees travel to Ben Lomond. Dated for Oct. 4 will be the first regional game at Box Elder when they host Weber High. The Wednesday, following Oct. 9, the Bees will host North Cache, the game being played early in the week because of the Utah Education association con The Box Elder Bees, with only two weeks of practice behind them, will open their 1957 football campaign tonight, Friday, when they meet a powerful (Jlympuus High school team from Salt Lake City at the Bee field. The game will start at 8 p. m. Only three lettermen will be on Coach Earl Fergusons start- ing lineup which is expected to take the field for the opening encounter Probable starters in the back-fielinclude Jay Hollingsworth as quarterback; Charles r Claybaugh and Richard Earl as halfat backs and Steven Jeppesen the fullback slot. In the line it will probably be Bob Limb at left end, Bruce Wright at left tackle, Max Huggins at left guard, Brent Sanford at Center, Bruce Hyde at right guard, Randall Tyson at right tackle and Jay Arbon at right end. All are seniors except Tyson, Hyde and Claybaugh, who are juniors. The three returning lettermen are Wright in the line, Hollingsworth and Claybaugh in the backfield. Others who will probably see service in the Friday night game are Billy Shio, Laren Peterson, Kenny Walters, Robert and Whitaker, Paul Hunsaker Deverell Morgan in the back field, James Caddy, Dennis Hansen, Roy Houser, Jerald Rich-maand Larry Diswood in the line, along with others on the 1957 roster. d I V?
