During the business meeting, members voted to contribute $30 to the cancer fund; $10 to the polio campaign, and to donate toward the purchase of an audio-mete- r to be used to detect hearing defects among school children in this county. Mrs. Fred Petersen made a brief report of the recent Womans Council Legislative meeting. Mrs. Roy Thompson discussed and introduced a gerentology project being planned where an exhibit will be held of handwork done by persons over 70 years of age. Further plans will be announced.
