The Willard flood, changed to the Mantua scene, in the drama, is another of the reasons Mrs. Call calls "The Song of the her favorite ' story Trumpet written The story itself has been in Mrs. Calls mind for several years. It took her Well over a year to get it whipped into shape, complete the research and type and the manuscript. Satisfaction Is Pay Satisfaction is great pay for Mrs. Call expressed writing, when interviewed: Just as her other books, Hawaiian Caprice, Cady Laura, and Along Came the Devil," this book too has grown out of incidents of her own family ' e life. TribEven her une Selected Short Story in 1939 came out of experiences of her sons, Joe, captain and quarterback of the USAC football squad, and Newell, quarterback at the University of Utah. Now it can toe told that much of her writing began as she assisted her 10 1 children with themes and stories during their high school and college days. She recalls with a twinkle of her bright eyes of the five themes written quickly for Joe in an effort to complete his college requirements before leaving for a football game in Hawaii. Brigham City can point with pride to Mrs. Call, who has combined her success as a mother and author. Mrs. Call is an avid reader of current best sellers and has written, then, listened to the critics concerning her literary efforts. prize-winnin- PLUS presents HffliSIfc CARTOONS I Mr. and Starts Sunday For Four Days r AVand Mrs. Clinton of Wellsviile announce Baugh the ar- rival of a baby daughter born Sunday afternoon, January 30, at the Logan LDS hospital.
