L. latched For Fishburn, only living charter member of the Box Elder Chamber of Commerce, will observe his 90th birthday anniversary on January 1, at a dinner planned in his honor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mack Fishburn. Mr. Fishburn was born December 31, 1863 in Smithfield, son of R. L. and Priscilla Noble Fishburn. He received his education in Smithfield and at the B.Y.C. of Logan. He taught school for three years at Alma, Wyoming. Since his marriage to Mamie Mack on November 28, 1890 in Logan LIDS temple they have resided in Brigham City. They built their home on South Main 63 years ago and it is still retained as the family home. Mr. Fishlburn recalls traveling as a salesman for several years for a branch of Zions Coopera-tlvMercantile Industries, which af that time was located in Brigham City where the First Security bank now stands. He and his father, the late R. a L. 'Fishburn, Sr., established In mercantile store general Brigham City in the middle 90s in the Siggard building on North Main. They later moved to a location on South Main R. L.
