He was reared educated in Germany and was a member of the crew of the private yacht of Kaiser Wilhelm. He joined the L. D. S. church and came to the United States in 1908. After a short residence in Salt Lake City the family moved to Providence. He edme to Corinne in 1919 where he has resided since. He married Bertha Framke In Germany in 1902. She died May 4, 1937 in Corinne. He married Hahn in 1940 and she died 1947. He married Mrs. Louisa Andersen in 1949.
