Although generally good reports are coming in from the entire northern end of the state, the most accurate figures we have are from the Ogden Bay refuge where on the opening day 2,091 hunters checked in at the station and checked out with 8,000 ducks and 30 Canadian honkers, according to the Utah State Fish and Game department. On the second day of the hunt 1,500 hunters showed up and bagged 3,150 ducks and 15 Canadian honkers. The third day of the hunt found '1,987 hunters checking in.
