FeaeCj ?DmiQs Tremonton sat at the top of heap Saturday in the area Colt league tournament in Willard. Tremonton was to play South Davis Saturday afternoon. A win by the local club would automatically send it to the district Tournament Tuesday in Brigham City. the Brigham Citys entry, al- though eliminated in two games the past week at Willard, enters Tuesdays tourney as the host team. Tremonton opened the tournament Wednesday with a win over South Davis. Willard In the bested Brigham City second round, Tremonton beat Willard 1 and South Davis whipped Brigham City 13-Willard was eliminated Friday 10-- 3 by South Davis, which won the right to challenge Tremonton again in the double elimination event. after five Willard led innings when South Davis put it away with seven sixth inning scores. Either Tremonton or South Davis will play the south Utah entrant at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at 0 2 Pioneer park in Brigham City. Brigham City will play the Billings, Mont., team at 8. Winners will play winners and losers play losers Wednesday. There will be one more game Thursday with one or two games necessary Friday. The winner of this tournament will meet the Washington state winner Saturday at 3 p.m. A second game will be played at 6 p.m. with a third game Sunday if needed. The winner of this series travels to California. The public is invited to the tournament. Admission for games is $1.50 for adults over 18, $1 for those 12 to 18 and 50 cents for kids under 12.
