Show BOX Honeyville native on nat'l 'jury' Obituarii Carol Ann Grantsville High school has been selected as one of three instructors in the nation to serve on a national jury of awards committee. Teryl Hunsaker, son of Mr. and Mrs. William E. Hunsaker of Honeyville, was selected by the James F. Lincoln Arc Welding foundation to read and Carol Ann Packer, 12, of Brigham City, died at a local hospital on June 9, 1977. She was born May 3, 1965, in Logan, a daughter of Jerry E. and Connie Beyeler Packer. She graduated from Bunder-so- n Elementary school this spring. She was a member of the LDS church. ': Survivors include her parents: two brothers, Raymond and Jerry W. Packer; one sister, Robyn Packer, and a niece, Cherie Ann Silvestro; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Packer, Brigham City; grandmother, Mrs. Melba Leitenber-ger- , Ogden; Mrs. Lena Beyeler, Men-a- grade papers Lysle Devere Wells Lysle Devere Wells great-grandmothe- r, Carol Ann Packer Idaho. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Brigham City Fourth LDS Ward chapel. Friends may call at Petersen Funeral chapel Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Brigham City cemetery. Felix Claus Mackey Felix Claus Mackey, 88, of 169 South Second East, Willard, died Thursday, June 9, 1977 at St. Benedicts hospital in Ogden of natural causes. . He was born Jan.; 28, 1889 at Bancroft, Neb., a son of George and Louise Nolting Mackey. He married Emma Rose Elsasser on Oct. 9, 1912 at Bancroft, Neb. She died Jan. 20, 1972. He was a farmer and after their marriage lived near Bancroft, Neb, He was baptized and confirmed at Zions Lutheran church in Bancroft. He moved to Willard in September of 1936 where he was a farmer and worked for Del Monte Packing company of Ogden. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Florence M. Brum-monWillard; Mrs. Rose Mae Woodyatt of Brigham City; Mrs. Kenneth (Luella) Eckert, Hawthorne, Calif.; Mrs. S.D. (Wilda) Hill of Bell vue, Neb.; 12 grandchildren; 37 Two sons preceded him in death, Also surviving are two and a sster, Louis Mackey and OsCar Mackey, both of Bancroft, Neb.; Mrs. Louise Johnson, Westpoint, Neb. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Olsen Funeral Home in Brigham City under direction of Pastor Leo E. Rubel of St. Pauls Lutheran church of Ogden. Interment was in the Willard cemetery. bro-the- Lowell James Christensen Lowell James Christensen, 66, of Clarkston, died Thursday, June 9, 1977 at a Salt Lake City hospital after an extended illness. He was born Feb. 7, 1911, at Clarkston of Joseph George and Annie Petersen Christensen. He married Anna Leola Romer on Aug. 3, 1962 in the Logan temple. He was a retired farm equipment mechanic, working much of the time in the Box Elder county area. He was educated in Cache county schools. He was a member of the Clarkston ward where he was a high priest. He had served in the Boy Scout organization and in various church positions. Survivors include his widow ; six brothers and eight sisters, Mabel Christensen and George Leon Christensen, both of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Sid (Ann) Sorensen of East Garland; Willis Christensen and Conley Christensen, both of Tremon-ton- ; David Christensen of Ogden; Mrs. Desmond (Dora) Ricks, Mrs. Wallace (Colleen) Clark and Nelda Hight, all of Kearns; Mrs. Eva Clark of Clarkston; Mrs. Merlin (Trena) Larsen of Mantua; Leslie D. Christensen of McGill, Nev.; Ned Christensen of Eugene, Ore.; Mrs. Elma Petersen of ' Fielding; Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in the Clarkston ward chapel. Friends may call Sunday 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cranney Mortuary 420 East 1800 North in Logan, and at the church one hour prior to services. Interment in the Clarkston City cemetery. Lysle Devere Wells, 55, of 4015 West 2300 North, Corinne, died Wednesday, June 8, 1977, at his home. He was born Oct. 17, 1921, in Promontory, a son of Joseph Floyd and Maria Cutler Wells. He married Joyce Ross on March 22, 1941, in Ogden. He owned and operated ranches in the Corinne, Promontory and Soda Springs, Idaho, areas. He was a member of the LDS from- - students nationwide who participate in a welding project contest sponsored by the foundation. Hunsaker also serves as Grantsville FFA advisor and has aided his students in winning honors annually at the Utah State Fair FFA competition in the ag mechanics division. As a member of the committee, he will travel with his family to Holden, Mass., July 4 through 15 as a guest of the foundation. While there he will judge siudent entries describing welding projects. He will be accompanied by his wife Diane and children 9, Jared, 8, and Clay, 2. Hunsaker is a graduate of Box Elder High school and Utah State university. church.
