Show f Plymouth Ponderings Many attend open house by Flo Munson Ellerene Udy spent Thursday visiting their mother Mrs. Edith A large crowd attended an open house held in the Belmont ward cultural hall Saturday afternoon honoring Gardner and Jane Hess Udy who were observing their, golden wedding anniversary. A program was presented by family members. Tributes were also given by Mr. and Mrs. Udy V sons Dennis, Ray and Bryce Udy. and their daughter Phyllis Kunzler. Enjoying Sunday dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Thayne Jones and family in Fielding were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Whiting of Plymouth and Mrs. Jay Sandall and sons Blake and DeMar and daughter Tori of Tremonton. The occasion was Mrs. Jones birthday anniversary. Miss Sherrie Josephson, a student at USU in Logan, spent the weekend visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. Garth Josephson and family. Mrs. Nadine Lamb and Mrs. Atkinson in Samaria. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Peterson were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Peterson and children Brian, Michael, DeDe, Kelly, Joseph and Amy of Clinton, Mr. and Mrs. Greg Lamb and children Mindy Jo and Angela Dawn of Plymouth. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Hoskins in Malad during the week were Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Estep. Movie, Dinner Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. Don Vanderhoof accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hunt of Brigham City enjoyed dinner at a downtown restaurant in Ogden afterwhich they attended a movie. Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Estep visited Mrs. Estep's mother Mrs. Clara Hoskins in Logan several times during the week. Mrs. Hoskins is reported to be feeling quite poorly. Rodney Hess of Salt Lake City spent the weekend visiting his parents Mr. and Mrs. Norris Hess. Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Hess were Mr. and Mrs. Brent Stokes and family of Snowville. Friday Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Lamb attended the cattle auction in Smithfield. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Whiting visited their granddaughter Miss Geri Jones of Fielding in the Logan hospital Friday where she was recuperating following an appendectomy. Visiting Mrs. Ethel Rudd Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Rudd of Layton. Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Filion of Magna spent Saturday visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jay (May Jean) Hess. In the afternoon they drove to Samaria to visit Mrs. Edith Atkinson. The three ladies are sisters. They also visited Mrs. Nanette Hess and family Orvil Nish Saturday. in Malad. Mr. and Mrs. Filion also attended the open house in the Belmont ward cultural hall honoring Mr. and Mrs. Gardner Udy who were observing their golden wedding anniversary. Spending Saturday in Malad visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Hoskins were Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Estep. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. E.T. Hoskins of Portage. Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Lamb and family were Mr. and Mrs. Lamont Wakely and family of Bancroft, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hoesch and family of Clearfield, Mr. and Mrs. Tim Thorpe and family of Honeyville, Miss Linda Lamb and Sasha Yeaman of Salt Lake City. Cye Clough of Ogden spent Friday visiting Mrs. Loretta Starr and son John. Monday Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Estep were in Ogden on business. Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. Norris Hess accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hicks of Tremonton enjoyed dinner at the Golden Spike Cafe in Cor-inn- Vern Deakin and two sons, Mr. and Mrs. Gayle Christensen and family of Tremonton, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Grill and two sons of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Forsberg and daughter Chan of Fielding, Mrs. Erlyn Scoffield and family and Dee Anderson of Riverside, Darrell Pitkin of Logan and Denise Van Valkenburg of Garland came to wish Tawnie a happy birthday and enjoyed cake and ice Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Udy and family entertained at a family dinner party. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. DeVerl Nish and family of Idaho Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Bryce Udy and daughter Stephanie of Tremone ton, Mr. and Mrs. Brent and daughters of Riverside, Orvil Nish of Plymouth. Michelle Carter of Salt Lake City was a Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Pierson and family. Mrs. LaPriel Secrist visited her daughter Mrs. Kathy Montgomery and family in Brigham City Saturday. Mrs. Ellerene Udy accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ray Udy and children Terry and Jamie of Garland visited Mrs. Edith Atkinson in the Malad hospital Sunday. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Craig Barnes and family in Samaria. In Malad Mac-farlan- cream. Mr. and Mrs. Gardner Udy had 36 members of their family with them for their golden wedding anniversary Saturday. The only grandson Elder Burke Kunzler who wasnt with them left a short time ago to fulfill an LDS mission in Tallahasee, Florida. They enjoyed having a niece Mrs. Peggy Ann Justen-se- n call them from Moses Lake to extend best wishes. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Gardner Udy visited Mrs. Edith Atkinson who is receiving medical care in the Malad hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Newel Nish returned home Friday after spending a few weeks in Portland visiting their and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Carrie June) Keller and family. During the evening they received a call from Elder Jimmy Estep in Brazil. in appreciation Fielding Town Board member D. Thayne Jones presented History of Utah books to Millie Welling and Alicia Moon as gifts. The gifts were in appreciation for the ladies work in preparing and typing an history of Fielding.
