The accompanied Mrs. Shum-way- s brother and sister-in-laMr. and Mrs. Richard Lindsay and daughter Miriam of Salt Lake City. They visited Nauvoo, toured the Mansion House, the home formerly owned by Joseph Smith and the Carthage jail. They also visited in Washington, D.C., where they went on a tour of the White House, watched the Senate and House in action, yisited Washington Monument and Mt. Vcrnoti. They traveled down the coast to Miami, Fla., where they relaxed and saw many points of . - $ wife also visited Mr. and Mrs. V. D. Bowcutt at their summer home in Logan Canyon. ii it Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Wester-gar- d and Orlee Westergard have returned from an enjoyable two week vacation in San Diego where they were house-guest- s of Mr, and Mrs. Whittey Kercey. They visited other relatives and also visited Disneyland. The Pinochle club met at the home of Mrs. Madge Homer. Mrs. Dona Bowcutt was a special guest. Prizes went to Mrs. Vera Westergard, Mrs. Queenie Carr and Mrs. Phyllis Wood. A tasty dessert was enjoyed. Have Guests Saturday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brown were Mr. and Mrs. Bengt Jonsson and son David of Kaysville. Mr. and Mrs. K. Mel Ward and family of Kaysville also visited Mr. and Mrs. Brown Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Leedrow Anderson spent Friday and Saturday in Tooele visiting Mrs. Ander- sons sister Mrs. Sena Harren. Saturday evening1 they visited their son and daughter-in-laMr. and Mrs. Steve Anderson in Salt Lake City. Their daughter Pamela who had been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Anderson in Price and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Johnson in Aurora accompanied her parents home.' Houseguests at the ho, me of Mr. and Mrs. M. Rex Jensen .last week were Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Ward who were converted as members of the LDS church by Robert Jensen when he was serving an LDS mission in South Wales Great Britian. The Wards are now living at Christ Church, New Zealand. They also visited Mr. and Mrs Robert Jensen and family. Spending Sunday and Monday visiting Mrs. Ruth Shumway and family were Mr. and Mrs. Steve Shumway of Provo, Jeff Shumway and Debbie Williams of Salt lake City. Mrs. Karen Jaussi of Corinne visited her parents Mr. and Mrs. W. Lee Thompson Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Rose and children Lori and Ryan spent Monday visiting Mrs. Hazel interest. They returned home by way of Independence, Mo., visited the Visitors Center and Liberty jail. They were overnight guests of Mrs. Shumways brother-in-laand sister Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Jensen and family in Denver enroute home. Mrs. Shumway reports it was a fabulous vacation. Michael and Linda Kay Grif-fet- h Jensen of Logan proudly announce the arrival of their first child, a girl born in the Logan hospital July 2. Mrs. Hazel Rose spent Friday through Sunday visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Buttars in Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Drake have been spending a week in Twin Falls. MrS. LeRoy Allred and daughter Tamra have been spending a ,few days visiting Mi, and Mrs. Raymond Butler and other relatives in Bountiful Visiting Mrs. Jennie Gephart for several days last week ere Mr. and Mrs. Eddie 0. Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Ray Evans attended Rays High school class reunion held at the Chat and Chew cafe in Malad. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Limb and family spent the holiday weekend at Jackson Hole.
