Show f i BOX ELDER NEWS, Brigham Utah City, Sunday, June 13, 1976 Perry Pulse Perfect attendance set by young student Mrs. Max Nelson Achieving a 100 percent attendance this past year at the Perry Elementary school was Susan Francis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Newell Francis. Susan just completed her third grade with a perfect attendance for three years. This is quite an achievement and we congratulate her for it. One of theformost interest for the students of the Perry Elementary school during the last weeks of school is the annual softball tournament. The students from the third grade up are divided into teams and then following playoffs a tournament is held and team one came out at the top team. Members of team one were: Devon Wheeler, captain, Warren Tingey, Gordon Hedrick, Lloyd Rhodes, Teresa Whitaker, Jeff Lund, Michelle Adams, Doug White and Brad Quayle. The Perry First ward Relief society is inviting all women of the ward to set aside, June 17 for their Spring Social. The activities wilj begin at 7:30 p.m. in the ward cultural hall. They invite all to join with them and learn The Art of Homemaking. This will include a review of the home canning class that was recently held. This also includes tips on food drying. Bookmobile schedule With the coming of the summer months, Mr. Day from the Bookmobile has announced a new schedule for his summer stops. Beginning today, June 10 the Bookmobile will be at the A & W Rootbeer stand from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. From 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. it will stop at the Christensens Fruit Stand. He will then be at the Perry Elementary school from 10:50 to 12:30 p.m. His next stop is on the lower road by the Aaron Snow home from 1:15 p.m. until 3. His final stop in the Perry area is from 3 : 15 to 5 : 30 on the east side of the corner of Peach and Allen Street. Other dates he will be in the Perry area are June 24, July 8 and 22 and August 5 and 19. All residents of Perry are reminded of these dates and are invited to take advantage of this service.
