Show Riverside Register Riverside woman home from California trip by Flo Munson Mrs. Alice Ward has returned home after spending the past three weeks in Riverside, Calif., where her nephew Alma Johnson1 underwent open heart surgery in the Loma Lenda hospital. Mrs. Ward was a house-gueof Almas wife while she was in California. Alma is well known in Bear River valley, having formerly lived in Fielding. Mrs. Ward reports he is getting along nicely. Enjoying a family and dinner at the home Mrs.Lenore Silvester Sunday wer Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Birks and family of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Silvester and family of Layton, and Mr. and Mrs. Ned Silvester and family of Riverside. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Karl Welling on Memorial Day were Mr. and Mrs. Don Welling and seven children of Evanston, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Rex and daughter Michelle of Randolph, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Welling of Plymouth and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Brough and family of Tremon-toLight refreshments were served. A family was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Uday and family in Brigham City on Memorial Day. Attending were Mrs. Mary Udy of Riverside, Mr. and Mrs. Craig Hanni, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hanni, Mr. and Mrs. st Wayne Hanni and son Mark of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Udy and three childrn of Hurricane, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Weese and son Ryan of Centerville, Mr. and Mrs. John Udy and three daughters of Hunter, Mrs. Doris Foster and children Kim, Brad and Annette of Preston. Later in the afternoon, Mrs. Mary Udy accompanied Mrs. Foster and family to Logan where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Allen Olsen and Mrs. Emma Darley. Mrs. Udy remained overnight with Mrs. Darley. er n. Enjoyed Day in Ogden Saturday Mrs. Mice Ward, Mrs. Donna Ward and daughter Patti enjoyed the day in Ogden. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jay Macfarlane Monday were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Moon of Ogden. Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Allen during the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Allen and sons John and Brent of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Allen and daughter LuAnn Mrs. Jean Bingham and daughter Lynette, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Allen and baby of Roy. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hirschi Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hirschi of Bountiful. Mr. and Mrs. Max Adams of Tremonton spent Memorial Dy visiting Mr. and Mrs. DeLoss Jensen. Tuesday evening Mr. and Mrs. Leland Capener, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Capener, Mrs. C. M. (Red) Cornwall attended a viewing in Evanston for Mrs. Cornwalls aunt Mrs. Ed Lee. Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Christensen and family of Bear River City were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Capener during the week. The occasion was Mrs. Christensens birthday an- niversary. While there she attended graduation exercises at Westminister college in Salt Lake City where her Robert E. Whitney was one of the graduates. He received his B.S. degree. Monday Mr. and Mrs. Grant son-in-la- Hirschi accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Norris Buttars and daughter Angela of Clarkston enjoyed visiting relativesdin-in Malad afterwhich they had ner at the Deep Creek cafe.
