Show I t i Obituaries jj A Thomas E. Sandall Thomas Elias Sandall, 76, of Tremonton, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 1975 at the McKay-De- e hospital in Ogden after a short illness. He was born Feb. 23, 1899 in Kaysville, a son of Thomas William and Elizabeth Belinda Adams Sandall. He married Ruby Stout Nov. 23, 1921 in Salt Lake City. She died April 3, 1946. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He married Eva Frances Jensen April 15, 1949 in Salt Lake Thomas E. City. He was reared and educated in Bothwell before moving to Tremonton in 1919. He had been active in the Bear River valley Sandall for softball for many years. He was an elder in the Tremonton First Ward. Survivors include his widow of Tremonton; three daughters, Mrs. Oleen (Della) Udy of Brigham City; Mrs. LaVoy (Maurine) Udy of Riverside; Mrs. Robert (Elouise) Sporled-e- r of Salt Lake City; three stepsons and a stepdaughter, Howard B. Jensen and Mrs. Cecil (Dorthella) Cupps, both of Larmle, Wyo.; Mrs. Vernon C. Jensen of Sacramento, Calif.; 19 grandchildren, 15 greatgrandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Wayne I. Sandall and Harold J. Sandall, both of Tremon- Heath Roy Hardy Heath Roy Hardy, infant son of M. Roy and Karla Josephson Hardy, 505 West Fourth South, Brigham City, was stillborn Wednesday, Jan. 14, 1976, at Cooley Memorial hospital. The parents are members of the Brigham City Fifth LDS ward. Surviving are the parents; grandparents, Mr, and Mrs. Ray Hardy, Brigham City; Mr. ton. and Mrs. Kart Josephson, ' Brigham City; ; Mr. and Mrs. John Earl Felt, Huntsville. Steven Hansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Woody Hansen of 26 North Seventh East, Brigham City, received his doctorate degree in cosmic ray physics on Dec. 13 from the University of Durham at a ceremony held in the Castle at Durham, England. Steven, a 1966 graduate of Box Elder High school, previously attended the University of Utah where in 1971 he recieved BA degrees in mathematics and physics, and was elected a member of the Sigma Pi Sigma physics honorary fraternity. While at the University of Durham, he served as a representative to the Student Union, became a member of the House Committee (the student governing body of his college) and in his final year became president of the Graduate society, one of Durhams nine colleges. As president he organized and opened Durhams first Day Care Centre for the children of students. His academic studies were concerned with the electromagnetic interactions of muons (a particle in cosmic rays) with atoms of iron using the Durham Cosmic Ray Spec- trograph (MARS). Stabbing victim reported 'good' sub-atom- A Brigham City youth, Clyde Casey, was reported in good condition Saturday at St. Benedicts hospital in Ogden. The youth, whose address is reported as 359 South Main, was reportedly stabbed in the stomach at the southwest corner of 25th street and Washington in Ogden. Casey told police someone jumped from behind some bushes and stabbed him.
