A reception will be held that same evening at the home of the brides parents, 186 North 300 West, Delta. They will be making their home in Willard. Perry will claim Peggy Jo temple ceremony. Couple to be honored on Golden anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Ezra E. Lefler, former residents of Collinston and Cutler Dam will be honored at an open house, by their daughters on the occasion of their golden wedding anniversary Sunday, June 9. Lefler was born in Woodland, where he spent his boyhood and received his education. He was a graduate of South Summit High school. Mrs. Lefler, the former Marie Bigler was born in Pocatello. She attended elementary school in Collinston. She also attended the Brigham Young college in Logan and was a graduate of Box Elder High school in Brigham City. The couple were married June 11, 1924 in Brigham City. The marriage was later, solemnized in the Logan LDS temple. Baker of Willows, Calif., observed 51st wedding anniversary as dinner guests of their son James Jim at Sherwood Hills their resort Saturday evening, May had visited the Golden Spike National Historic Site at Promontory earlier in the afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Baker have been in Brigham City with their son since May 8 when he was released from the McKay-De- e Memorial Hospital in Ogden to continue recuperating at his home in Brigham City. He was injured in a mountain climbing accident May 4. His parents had visited him for Easter and the two subsequent weeks before returning to their home in California on April 30. They were called back to Brigham City when their son, a Thiokol engineer, was injured. He is making a satisfactory recovery from the painful injuries he received in his fall down the mountain before striking a tree at his rib cage. 25. Main Mr. and Mrs. Theron Snell. B. Lee will Mrs. Theron Knight. They Open House will honor couple on anniversary In recognition of the golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Theron B. Lee, their two daughters are hosting a reception at the Brigham City Community Center, 24 North Third West, on Saturday, June 8 from 5 until 9 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to call and visit with them on this occasion. They request no gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Lee were married in the Salt Lake LDS temple on June 4, 1924, living first in Willard for four years where Mrs. Lee was in charge of the Willard postoffice. For the major part of their lives they have lived in Brigham City, having designed and instructed two homes here. They have two daughters, Mrs. Sherman W. (Bonnie) Thorpe, living in Mesa, Arizona, and Mrs. Harold O. (Luana) Horne, of Brigham City. They have ten grandchildren. Local Activities The couple has been extremely active in business, church and civic affairs all their lives. Mr. Lee resigned his postion in 1945 as assistant manager of the Brigham City branch of the First Security Bank to establish a public accounting service. A short time later, he passed the certified public accounting examination. He has served as state vice the of Utah president Association of Certified Public Accountants and as president of the northern Utah chapter, and in various other capacities in the state C.P.A. organization. He retired from active practice three years ago. His church activities include numerous ments secretarial assignin auxiliary organizations, and as ward clerk and stake clerk for many years, and member of the First Ward bishopric. He and his wife at present are engaged in temple work. Mr. Lee has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce and the Brigham City Rotary club for many years, and is a past president of the Rotary club. His hobbies are photography, music, gardening and travel. Recently he has taken up the electric organ. Church service Mrs. Lee has worked alongside her husband for many years in his public accounting office. She has served in various capacities in all the womens and childrens auxiliaries in the church since age 15, including a continuous 27 year period as Junior Sunday School coordinator. She has held numerous positions in the Civic Improvement club and Certified Public Accountant auxiliary. She fulfilled terms as Civic Improvement club president and as secretary, and as state president and district president of the CPA auxiliary. She has also been secretary of the American Legion auxiliary. Her hobbies are gardening, oil painting, dried flowers and ceramics. She raises flowers in her garden, preserves them in sand and arranges them in artistic displays. To celebrate the fiftieth milestone in their marriage, the k couple recently enjoyed a cruise on the Caribbean, Help us celebrate two-wee- stayed in Spokane and visited Expo 74 a number of times. They enjoyed the skyride over the falls, saw Kevin Tige and of Ron stars Pinkard, enjoyed the Emergency, Lilac Show and the queens of every state. 'The pavilions are beautiful and the foods interesting and fun to taste, said Mrs. Grant. They took their trailer and enjoyed stopping along the way. On the return trip they visited the Crater of the Moon in Idaho during a snowstorm. Comes Home Mrs. Adelia Hadley is home again after a siege in the hospital for a week and is recuperating at the home of a daughter Mrs. Lloyd Whittaker in Bear River City. On Memorial Day weekend a nephew and wife Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Jensen and a sister and brother-in-lw- , Mr. and Mrs. of Howard Whittaker, Kaysville, came to visit her. They also spent some time with a brother, Stephen Rose. On Memorial Day they visited cemeteries in Plymouth and Tremonton and Mrs. Hadleys son in Garland. Spend Day The R. W. They have named him Thomas Lowell. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Packer of this city and Mr. and Mrs. Glen L. Pearson of Orem.
