Maki, son of Mrs. Alberta M. Makl of Iron River, Mich. The nuptial rites are slated for June 15 at 5342 South 220 West, Roy. Following the wedding ceremony an open house honoring the newlyweds will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. All friends and relatives of the couple and their families are invited to attend. Miss Bourne graduated from Lehi High school and is presently employed at Hill Air Force base. The future bridegroom has completed four years of service in the US Air Force, and is also employed at Hill Air Force base. Claybaugh returned Thursday from a week in Texas. They went to Amarillo where they attended the wedding of her niece. The former Dixie Conley daughter of the Virb Conleys of Perryton, Tex. was married to Mack Gordon in the First Baptist church in Amarillo on May 24. They honeymooned in Acapulco. The Claybaughs visited a niece and husband Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Herman while they were in Amarillo and attended a Conley reunion of Mrs. Mr. Mr. and Mrsi James Smith of Tremonton will be honored at an open house by their family on the occasion of their golden wedding anniversary June 9. Friends and relatives are invited to call between the hours of 7 to 9 p.m. in the Tremonton Fifth ward Relief society room. They request no gits. Mr. Smith was born June 19, 1896 in Big Wash, Nev. a son of Elias and Emma Paul Smith. He spent his boyhood in Garrison, where he received his education. He also attended the Utah State Agricultural college in Logan. Mrs. Smith, the former Rebecca King was born Nov. 15. 1904 in Garland a daughter of Thomds E. and Elizabeth manning King. She attended elementary school in Garland and later attended Brigham Young college in Logan. The couple were married June 6, 1923 in the Logan LDS temple. Smith is a veteran of World War I. He is a high priest in the Tremonton Fifth ward and serves as a home teacher. He is presently operating a garage and service station in Bear River City. He enjoys fishing and hunting. Prizes awarded for low gross first and second went to Carrie Rennick and Bea Thurston in the first flight, DeAnn Ebeling and Val Wight in the second flight, Sharon Brailsford and June Smith in the third flight. Low net first and second prizes went to Alma Bryant and Grace Beasley in the first flight, Annetta Ramos and Ange Farnsworth in the second flight, and Frances Laney and Shirley Simper in the third flight.
