Show 4 BOX ELDER Party NEWS, Brigham City, Utah Sunday, October 1, 1972 Line By Ruth Phone 723-622- 9 All that one gains by falsehood is not to be believed when he speaks the truth. Aristotle. Which bring up the question, whats happened to that old fashioned virtue telling the truth. Honestly, Im so confused by the things I read about whats going on in the political world that I cant pick out the good guys from the bad guys. Wouldn't it be simple if they just wore black and white hats like in the cowboy movies? Of course, a lot of folks think that there are two kinds of lies too, little white ones, and black ones. Its always hard to sort them out. Now you tell me where do you draw the line? In my book, a lies a lie. I think sometimes we have to use a little tact but no need to elaborate on it until its a lie. Marvat said White lies are but the ushers to black ones. Now if youll pull up that old easy chair I guarantee that what Im going to tell you is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
