Show ti Obituaries if 1 Asking for Former Brigham City ma'n Eddis William Watkins, 84, Ogden, died Wednesday at the home of a daughter in Phoenix, of Ariz., complications following a stroke. He was born Jan. 3, 1888, in Brigham City, a son of Joseph H. and Lydia Ella Hancock Cassette Tapes We Now Nave Them Watkins. He married Helen Myles Buchan on Jan. 5, 1916, in the Salt Lake LDS temple. She died in 1920. On Sept. 1, 1922, he married Crystal Rose Jeppson in the Salt Lake temple, He graduated from Brigham Young college in Logan and FAMOUS mm Cassette Recording Tapes i from Utah State Agricultural college with a bachelor of science degree in education. He attended the University of Utah. An enthusiastic scouter, he had filled many important positions, including field executive, camp director and commissioner. He was also active in the LDS church and filled a mission to England from 1912 to 1915, was on the MIA board in four stakes, served as second counselor in Farr West stake and was a member of the Ogden Stake High Priest presidency. He had been a bishop in the Fourth ward for six years. His career in education began in 1918 and closed with his retirement in 1953. In addition to teaching, he also served as principal, coach, counselor and coordinator in Weber and Box Elder schools. He was a National Guardsman for three years. She was born Aug. 16, 1891 at Willard, the daughter of Axel Alfred and Johannah Carlson and was reared at Willard. On Dec. 15, 1915 she married James Melvin Woodland in the Salt Lake LDS temple. They farmed at Marsh Center until 1920 when they came to Pocatello. Woodland died in Pocatello on June 29, 1963. Mrs. Woodland was an active member of the LDS church and had served in many capacities including Counselor to the President of the Sixth Ward Relief Society; Relief Society magazine representative for 18 years; Relief Society visiting teacher for 45 years; and Primary teacher. She sang with the Singing Mothers Chorus and enjoyed doing genealogy work. her include husband and Mrs. Rudolph (Florence) Brummond, Mrs. Don (Rose Mae) Woodyatt, all Willard; Mrs. Kenneth (Luella) Eckert, Hawthorne, of Calif.; Mrs. S.D. (Wilda) Hill, Bellevue, Neb.; two sons preceded her in death; 12 23 grandchildren, great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Anna Sorenson, Bancroft, Neb.; Mrs. Florence Casey, Emerson, Neb. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Blaine Olsen Funeral chapel, with burial in the Willard cemetery. He was born July 28, 1891, in Neeley, Idaho, a son of Fredrick John and Mary Ellen Hickman Kohlhepp. He married Charlotte Hannah Mason on April 26, 1933, in Plymouth. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS temple on March 9, 1945. Mrs. Kohlhepp died in January 1969. He had worked as a farmer and rancher in Plymouth and Idaho. He was a high priest in the Belmont LDS ward. Surviving are one stepson, Ellis S. Hess, Plymouth; five in the LDS Sixth Ward chapel at Pinceton, in Pocatello, with 42 Sruvivors include two sons: Melvin Woodland, Sacramento, Calif.; Dale Woodland, Boise; two daughters: Charlotte Warren and Clara Rae a Woodland, Pocatello; brother: Joseph W. Carlson, Ogden, 19 grandchildren and 5 Fredrick W.
