Show 6 Frank Ponzo NEWS, Brigham City, Utah Sunday, January 2, 1972 BOX ELDER Tribal funeral services were held Wednesday in Cedars cemetery for Frank Ponzo, 96, who died Dec. 24 of natural causes at his home in Fort Hall. He was born in Virginia City, Mont., to Ponzoo and Martha Carson Ponzo. He married Dora Hammer. She died Feb. 28, 1971. Survivors include sons and daughters, John Ponzo, Vern Ponzo, Mrs. Irene Edmo, Mrs. Charles (Grace Buckskin, Mrs. Timothy (Josephine) Miller, all of Fort Hall; Mrs. Loris Peshlokoi, Brigham City; 21 Obituaries Rendell K. Funeral services were held Friday for Rendell Kemp Draper, 67, of 212 Hanford, Garland, who died Tuesday at McKay hospital, Ogden, after a lingering illness. He was born April 26, 1904, in Moroni, Utah, a son of George Franklin and Olive Kimp Draper. He was reared and educated in Moroni. He married Roselin Allred on Oct. 23, 1926, in Nephi. He had lived in Moroni for 13 years, in Garland for 12 years, Brigham City for five years and Burbank, Calif., for seven years, returning to Garland last June. He had been manager of Bay-Vie- City for five years and worked for 12 Sugar years for Utah-Idah- o motel in Brigham company. Boyd W. He was a member of the LDS church. Surviving Petersen are his widow of Garland; one son and three daughters, Earliss (Bud) Draper, Fresno, Calif.; Mrs. Udell (LaDean) Hodge, Mrs. Wayne (Nedra) Ray, Mrs. David (Sherrel) Webber, all of Ogden; 10 grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Cooper, Nephi; Mrs. Walter (Zelda) Boyd Warren Petersen, 53, 62 North Third East, died Sunday in a Salt Lake City hospital after a lingering illness. Peiersen was Born Feb. 16, 1918, in Penrose, a son of Fred W. and Eva C. Christensen Petersen. He was a graduate of Bear River High school. Lois Merle He married Rosenbaum in Penrose Aug. 16, 1943. She died April 4, 1964. He married Ruby E, Quire, Dec. 29, 1964 in Malad, Idaho. five grandchildren; Broadhead, Grand Junction, DIES Thomas J. died Friday in an Duns-for- Thomas J. Dunsford Thomas J. Dunsford, Second great-granchildre- d Ogden hospital. North Palmers Fabulous January Clearance 55, 255 East, died at St. Benedicts hospital in Ogden Friday morning after a short illness. He was born Dec. 22, 1916, in London, England, the son of Tom and Kathleen Nichols Dunsford. Dunsford was a member of the Catholic church and came to Brigham City in 1961. He was employed as a designer for Weber Office Supply and was a partner of Nat Allen at the Dunalle House of Brigham City. Graduate He attended the University of South Carolina. Survivors include a sister and brother, Mrs. Stanley (Eileen) Dierck, Eric Dunsford, both of London. Mass will be conducted at St. church Henry's Catholic Monday at 10 a.m. Friends may call at the Harold B. Felt Delta B. Marsh Delta Bowcutt Marsh, 69, of 1070 Sterling drive, Salt Lake City, died Dec. 28 of natural causes in an Ogden hospital. She was born Feb. 25, 1902, in St. Charles, Idaho, to William James and Amanda Mortenson Bowcutt. She was married to Mearle Clyde Marsh, Aug. 1, 1923, in Ogden. She was a member of the LDS church and a former school teacher at Promontory. include Survivors her husband, sons and daughters, Mearle C. Marsh, Jr., Salt Lake City; William D. Marsh, Willard; Mrs. Graham C. (Doris) Shaw, Garland; Mrs. Hugh P. Funeral services were held Friday in the Rose Park Fourth LDS Ward chapel. Burial was in Willard City cemetery. Penrose Farmer Petersen had been a farmer In Penrose was a trapper and also helped as a butcher at Valberg8 market until illness forced nlm to retire. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, was a former scoutmaster In the Brigham Fourth LDS ward and member of the Eagles lodge. He was a member of the disabled veterans and Brigham City Fourth LDS ward. His son, Lanny, died Dec. 3, 1969 while serving in the U.S. Army. Survivors include a widow of Brigham City; three daughters, Mrs. Rodney (Betty Lou) Bywater, Brigham City; Patsy Jo Petersen and Gayla Jean Petersen, both Ogden; three grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Morgan (Myrtle) Miller, Salt Lake City; Jess F. Petersen, and Scott A. Petersen, both M. Leonard Tremonton; Petersen, Penrose; Mrs. Oval (Pearl) Grover, Garland; Mrs. William (Mary) Herrick, San Ramon, Calif.; Mrs. Arden T. (Jule) Johansen, Ogden. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. in the Fourth LDS ward chapel. Friends may call Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Blaine Olsen Funeral chapel and Monday prior to services. Burial will be in the Brigham City cemetery. STARTING MONDAY January 3 Melba Rae Toombs Word has been received of the sudden illness and death of a former Willard resident, Mrs. Gilbert (Melba Rae Toombs) Shawn who died Thursday morning, Dec. 30, at her home in New York City. She was the daughter of Mrs. Tessie H. Marshall of Palo Alto, Calif, and the late Parker Toombs of Willard. She attended the LDS church and school in Willard and graduated from Box Elder High school in 1935. She was active in dramatics and graduated from Stanford university in Palo - Alto. She was a stage actress with Search for the TV series, Tomorrow, at the time of her death. She is survived by her husband, a son, Eric, her mother and one brother, Robert P.
