Show members of the group, and their families the Ivo Mills of Centerville and George Rollins of Salt Lake City. Let us be merry," said Mr. Pecksniff, one of Mr. Dicken's creations, and youd better not forget it. After all this is the season to be merry." I have to keep reminding myself of it. Especially as I watch the icicles growing longer in front of my favorite north window and struggle to unbend my fingers enough to hit the typewriter keys after a lengthy session addressing Christmas cards, For a brief minute this morning I envied our old mother cat who has nothing to do but sit on the window ledge and peer at me curiously as I work. The only thing that disturbs her tranquil life is the sound of the back door opening. She makes a quick leap off her perch then in the hopes that it means someone is coming bearing food. Now I hope you dont think I dislike Christmas. I love it! I like the way it makes people behave. We all seem to get a little kinder and more thoughtful of others.
