The offenders and disposition in each case include the following: Harriet Robbins Wadman, 62, 16 West Fourth South, $250 and 60 days in the Box Elder County jail. She paid the fine and the court granted a stay of execution on the jail term. Virgil Lee Ruggles, 38, 477 North Sixth West, $150 and 60 days in city jail. He paid the fine and was placed on six months probation. Gilbert L. Velasquez, 31, 628 South Second West, 30 days and $250 with the days suspended. Don James Johnson, 57, 145 South Fifth West, $200 and 60 days in city jail. He was placed on six months probation and was granted a stay in paying the fine to Nov. 16. Garth Otto Jensen, 38, 32 East Fifth South, $200 and 30 days in city jail, the days suspended with a stay on the fine granted to Dec. 2. Donald Ray Anderson, 43, 121 North Fourth West, $200 and 30 days in county jail, the jail term suspended. Kenneth L. Bodily, 39, Burley, Idaho, 90 days in county jail and $150 with probation to be taken under advisement. y PARKING BAN There will be no parking allowed on this section of Main street (Second to Third North) when as a first street. Adult Vocational Classes Offered in Local District Several new adult vocational classes are in the offing for patrons of Box Elder County School district, according to Sam Gordon, vocational education director. Registration can be taken in any class at any time, the director said, however, the longer one waits to register the less instruction therq will be in the semester which ends Jan. 21, 1972. Classes to begin at Box Elder High school include one in welding, and farm machinery repair slated to get underway Monday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m. in the farm mechanics shop. It will run for 45 hours or 15 evenings. A woodwork class is set Thursday at 7 p.m. in Owen Westenskows shop. Also on Thursday is a class in plastics to which further registration is being en- couraged. Scheduled to begin Tuesday at 7 p.m. is a class in small engines and power mechanics which will be taught by Gene Juber, 10 classes or 30 hours. Reading Class Under the instructorship of Lynn Jenson, a class in reading will be held each Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Room 161. The course is designed for people who want to improve their reading skills. It is not classed as speed reading, but as basic instruction. It will be taught on an individualized basis so that everyone should receive the type of instruction desired, the director explained. A class, English as a second language, is being taught each Tuesday and Thursday at the high school between 5 and 6 p.m. Operation of power sewing macines is held daily from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Anyone interested may apply either through the employment office or at the class which is held at the Opportunity Center, 25 West and Fifth South, Brigham City. Nurses A nurses Aide Class aide class is planned and as . soon as arrangements can be made for the class and enrollees secured, it will be held at Pioneer Memorial Nursing home with time to be arranged. Physical fitness class for both men and women at Box Elder Junior High school is drawing keen interest with new registrants joining the classes weekly. Scheduled daily at the junior high the gym is open from 5:15 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Formal exercise class begins at 6:30 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. With this exception the individual works at his own pace and his own program. A drivers ed class will begin as soon as a sufficient number of candidates are enrolled.
