They came to the United States in 1924, living in Ogden until coming to Brigham City in 1941. He has owned and operated a fruit farm here. He was a member of the Hiroshima Ken Jin Kai club in Ogden and was a past officer of the organization. He was a member of the Corinne Buddhist church. Surviving are his widow, Brigham City; one son and two daughters, Sandy Tawatari, Kiyoko Tawatari, both of Brigham City; Mrs. Mas (Chiyemi) Nozaki, Plain City; one four grandchildren; brother, Ichitaro Tawatari, Japan.
