On Friday before mothers day the kindergartens, first and second grade students of the Honeyvllle school held a pro. gram for their mothers at the Honeyvllle auditorium. Slick Ramps at Trouble Willard Bay Boaters at Willard Bay Reservoir are being plagued with problems when attempting to launch their boats. The problem is the slick ramps caused from fatty substances In the waters of the bay, which have been present for the past week. Reports say that the fatty material has collected on the concrete launching ramps, mak-ln- g the launching operation - almost Impossible. - went An automobile Into the water Tuesday at the site due to the tires sliding off the slick surface. It took crews over an hour to recover the car from the water. the reservoir said the driver of the vehicle narrowly escaped going down with the car when It slid beneath the surface of the water. It Is reported that the officials of the Utah State Department of Fish and Game believe the substance Is coming from meat packing plants along the the Weber River, which empties Into the big 10,000 acre reservoir through an Inlet channel adjacent to the launching site. The State Health Department has ordered the packing plants to halt the practice of putting wastes Into the river, according to fish and game officials.
