With all the sad news about the fruit freeze-ou- t and damage to other crops I had forgotten all about our tree. When the sun came out for a few brief minutes Sunday I suddenly noticed It had been a victim of the frost too. The few little green leaves that were beginning to show were curled md dark and the long grec.1 flowers where the walnuts set are black. I also noticed that our well.known sycamores on Main street look as if they have suffered some from the cold weathr. But I suppose like everything elese In life that looks black you can find a bright note If you look for it.
