BEHS Seniors Honored for Scholarship Four Box Elder High school seniors have received recognition recently for high performance on the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test which was given at the school last spring. The scholars are Erick Jensen, Leonard Eckel, John Nabors and Edward Pruncken. Erick, a son of Dr and Mrs. Wayne I. Jensen, 108 West Seventh in North, rated as a the nationwide test. He will take the finalist test about the first of the year and if he passes and qualifies, he will be eligible for a National Merit scholarship to a r college of his choice. ' Leonard, John and Edward recently received a Letter of Commendation signed by Principal E. W. Payne and John M Stalnaker, president of the National Merit Scholarship corporation. Leonard is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald L, Eckel, 390 Fishburn Drive; John is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Nabors III, of RFD 1, Brigham City; and Edward is a son of Mr. and Mrs. E. V Pruncken, 442 South Sixth West Stalnaker said the semifinalists and commended students together constituted about two percent of all high school seniors throughout the United States.
