Journal & All eligible wool growers were urged to cast their ballots in the referendum on the wool end lamb marketing development program. Orvil J. Nish, chairman, Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation county committee, said that large vote is desired in the referendum in order to insure the most representative vote possible. Growers eligible to vote are all those who have owned sheep or lambs, six months of age or older, for any one period of at least 30 days since last January 1, 1962. The vote will determine whethnot deductions will continue to be made from producer under the wool payment program. The chairman said that ballots have been mailed to all known wool and lamb producers by the ASCS county office, serving the county where the producers farm or ranch headquirters is located, and this county office is where the ballots should be cast. If a ballot is mailed to the ASCS county office, it must be postmarked no later than Sept. 21 in order to be counted. If the ballot is cast in person, it must be received at the county office not later than the close of business on Sept. 21. In the first place our band will appear for the first time in their new uniforms and will make a hit. It will be a pleasure for all to hear the Governor on his favorite topic Utah. Sept 12, 1912 Tomorrow the Bull Moose of the State of Utah will gather at Ogden in their state convention, one of the features of which will be an address by Colonel Theodore Roosevelt, the biggest Bull Moose of them all. This will be the only speech made in Utah, for as soon as he gets through speaking he will be switched away on a special train eastward.
