Marsha is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Varsel Chlarson of Honey-villvice Marsha served as president of the studentbody at Box Elder Junior High during her ninth grade and she has been a member of the representative council at BEHS this year. n Drain Extension Job The somewhat controersial storm drain project in northeast Brigham City Thuisday gained the blessing of the city council along with a companion project to carry runoff water to a field stream ditch north of the city Acceptance came on a selling job by Councilman Verl Petersen who convinced his fellow officials that the low bid of $1115,349 received three weeks ago should be accepted even though only $70,000 has been budgeted for the work Petersen said the balance of $35,349 could be paid out of the new budget which becomes effective in July. He said the low bidder, E. H. Knudsen Construction company, Ogden, had agreed to this arangemcnt The underground drainage system will extend from Poplar drive and Third North along Holiday drive to Seventh Noitit and then west to Fifth East. Some criticism had been heard of the project because it would dump waste water onto vacant property at Fifth East and Seventh North, a site owned by Box Elder School district. e.
