Meet Thursday Presbyterian Women's Association members will have a busy week beginning with an executive board luncheon at the home of Mrs. Ted Card, 68 North Ninth East, on Wednesday at 10 a m. Project chairman Mrs. Frances Brightenburg announced that the contest for the chest will be con- Community Club Hears Speaker On Communism d cluded on Saturday, Feb. 10, when will take home the lovely chest along with its contents of household items donated by members of the Auxiliary. INCLUDED IN the chest are many hand decorated articles, towels, sheets, and other beautiful and useful household items. This year the proceeds of the project will be used to support various health foundations including the Heart Fund, Cancer drive Muscular Dystrophy and other such research and medical groups. This Will allow for even great percentage of the funds collected being available to the local area. -SEVERAL OTHER valuable prizes are included in the contest, and details can be obtained from members of the local club. Christensen of Rochester, Minn., were recent visitors in the Brigham City area following attendance at a medical convention in Phoenix, Ariz. Before their stop in Brigham City, they visited a daughter Carol who is attending Stanford university in Palo Alto, Calif. Hosting their visit in Brigham City were Mrs. Christensens par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Bowen, and Dr. Christensens parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orson A. Christensen. They traveled by air, managing to squeeze in a landing and take-of- f from the Salt Lake airport in spite of heavy fogs. St?
