Invitations for the event have gone out to each family, and the committee announces that three family prizes will be given to those in attendance at the party. 'i , Community Presbyterian church women are urged to attend meetings of the study circles planned for this week. Meetings will feature special Christmas programs as well as the regular study sessions. Evening Circle will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 12, at 7:30 p. m. at the home of Mrs. Ernest Hurst, 435 East Seventh South. Both recent study books are to be completed at the meeting, and each member is asked to bring a 29 cent gift for exchange. 4 SANTAS ELVES Billy Owen shows a Christmas sunburst start to Bobby Packer as the two plan to welcome guests to the Civic Improvement Clubs annual Christmas program set for Thursday, Dec, 14. The two elves will be on hand to add Christmas cheer to the event, which is scheduled for the First LDS ward recreation hall. Christmas Program for Thursday MORNING CIRCLE will meet 9:30 a. m. on Thursday, Dec. 14, at the church. Hostesses for the day are Mrs. A. L. Franbalino and Mrs. Ed Frunkin. The lesson will complete the studies in Christian family life. Afternoon Circle will meet on Thursday, Dec. 14, at 12 noon for their annual potluck Christmas luncheon at the home of Mrs. James Bryson, 575 East Sixth North. All are invited to attend and bring a pot luck dish. Members of Civic Improvement club will gather on Thursday, Dec. annual Christmas 14, for their musical program. FOR CHRISTMAS Rotary Families Set Christmas e Vi A Auxiliary members will gather at the Aerie Home on Wednesday, Dec. 13, for their regular business meeting. Starting ime for the meeting is set for 8 p. m. Announcement was made of the winner of the clubs recent doll project at the groups dance on Dec. 2. Winner of the baby doll and complete layette and case was Mrs. Clarence Brough of She has eight grandchildren and one of them will be made very happy with the little doll. The group was thrilled by the success of the doll project. Funds from the effort will be used to buy surprise Christmas gifts tor shut-ichildren in the local community. It is the first year the group has sponsored such a project, and they hope to make it an annual Eagles Carl E. Nelson, known as Star to his old friends in Brigham City, visited with his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. J Waite Owens on Dec. 1.
