Show 10 THE NEWS, Brigham City, Utah BOX-ELDE- Death Claims Tuesday, December 5, 1961 Tax Confab Set Dec. 9 Brigham Lady After Illness 8-- The Ninth annual tax conference, sponsored by the Utah Society of Public Accountants and National Association of Accountants, will be held at the Newhouse Hotel in Salt Lake City on Friday and Saturday, Dec. Well known tax men from Los Intermountain Angeles and the area will be featured as speakers. The conference will be an outstanding event attracting practitioners and business executives throughout the western area. C n or, ' -- , ! A ' ' I Mrs. Maude Glover Ashcroft, age 60, died Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the Colley Hospital after an extended illness. She was born Oct. 16, 1901 in Brigham City, a daughter of William H. and Nettie Rosenbaum Glover. She was reared and educated in Brigham City and graduated from Box Elder High school. She attended the Utah State university and the University of Utah. She taught school for two years at Central school. SHE WAS married to Dewey Ashcroft on Sept. 11, 1924 in Ogden. She has been an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints having served in the Sunday School and MIA and was president of the Primary for a number of years. She also served on the Primary stake board for a time. Mrs. Ashcroft had served as a member of the Brigham City Public Library board and had been a member of Civic Improvement Club.. She had worked in PTA. SURVIVORS include her husband, Dewey Ashcroft, Brigham City; a daughter, Mrs. William D. (Anne) Boldock, who resides in Alaska; two grandchildren; the following brothers and sisters: W. Lamont Glover, Morris Glover and Clyde Glover, all of Brigham City; Mrs. Afton Victor, Ogden; Mrs. Grace White, Perry. Services are set for Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Brigham City Third CDS ward chapel with Bishop K. B. Olsen Friends may officiating. call at the Harold B. Felt Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p. m. and Thursday prior to services.
